En­si vii­kon ai­ka­tau­lus­ta löyt­yy taas vaih­teek­si myösk­in Alum­ni­ker­hon af­ter­work. Täll­ä ker­taa af­te­rit si­joit­tu­vat Hap­py Bad­ger -kah­vi­laan klo 18 eteen­päin (alus­ta­vas­ti). Af­ter­work on tut­tuun ta­paan tar­koi­tet­tu alum­neil­le tai väh­int­ään vii­si vuot­ta As­te­ris­kil­la opis­kel­leil­le. Osal­lis­tu­mi­seen vaa­di­taan myös As­te­ris­kin jäs­en­yys. Li­sät­iet­oj­a alum­ni­toi­min­nas­ta täst­ä. Ky­sei­nen ar­tik­ke­li on al­ku­vuo­del­ta, mut­ta sen si­sält­ämä­t ylei­set tie­dot alum­ni­toi­min­nas­ta ovat ajan­koh­tai­sia.

Next week a day trip to Kur­jen­rah­ka Na­tio­nal Park will be held! Par­ti­ci­pants will gat­her at bus stop E3 on Lin­nan­ka­tu for bus 23 lea­ving at 10:15am. Mo­re in­for­ma­tion. No­te that par­ti­ci­pants are as­ked to join the Te­leg­ram group for the trip to en­su­re ef­fi­cient com­mu­ni­ca­tions.

The Fresh­man sitz are soon he­re! If you we­re ab­le to sign up, ma­ke su­re to read th­rough the ar­tic­le on­ce mo­re so you know whe­re, when and how to be. Re­mem­ber to pay for the sitz in a ti­me­ly man­ner, as well. Did you not ha­ve the abi­li­ty to sign up for the Fresh­man sitz? No wor­ries: The Le­gen­da­ry Po­kémonp­art­y and -sitz are co­ming as well! The­re are at least a few spots left for the sitz so be quick to sign up!

We can al­so ob­ser­ve an Alum­ni club af­ter­work in the sc­he­du­le for next week. This ti­me the af­ter­work will ta­ke pla­ce at Hap­py Bad­ger from 6pm on­wards (pre­li­mi­na­ri­ly). The af­ter­work is in­ten­ded for As­te­ris­ki alum­ni and tho­se who’ve­ stu­died un­der As­te­ris­ki for at least fi­ve years. Par­ti­ci­pa­tion al­so re­qui­res As­te­ris­ki’s mem­bers­hip. To find out mo­re about alum­ni ac­ti­vi­ties, join As­te­ris­ki’s Dis­cord and na­vi­ga­te your­self to the alum­ni chan­nel or ask to join the alum­ni Te­leg­ram group from alum­ni or­ga­ni­zers.

TYYn Sii­piin hae­taan jäs­en­iä lu­ku­kau­dek­si 2024–2025

Tu­run ylio­pis­ton yliop­pi­las­kun­ta ha­kee ydin­ryh­män jäs­en­iä va­paaeh­tois­toi­min­nan ryh­mään eli TYY:n sii­piin. TYYn sii­vet on va­paaeh­tois­ryh­mä, jo­ka toi­mii nel­jän eri tee­man ym­pär­ill­ä. Sii­vis­sä on va­paus luo­da uut­ta toi­min­taa ja muo­ka­ta yliop­pi­las­kun­nan ta­pah­tu­ma­kult­tuu­ria se­kä val­voa opis­ke­li­jan etua ylio­pis­tol­la ja yh­teis­kun­nas­sa. Sii­ven ydin­ryh­mä ve­tää sii­ven toi­min­taa ja va­lit­see kes­kuu­des­taan pu­heen­joh­ta­jis­ton.
TYY:n sii­vis­sä työsk­enn­ell­ään seu­raa­vien tee­mo­jen pa­ris­sa: kan­sain­väl­is­yys, ke­hi­ty­syh­teis­työ, yh­den­ver­tai­suus, ja ym­pär­ist­ö.

Haem­me sii­vil­le ydin­tii­min jäs­en­iä, joi­den jou­kos­ta sii­vet va­lit­see pu­heen­joh­ta­jan ja so­pii muus­ta työnj­aost­a. Edel­ly­tämm­e ha­ki­joil­ta mo­ti­vaa­tio­ta ja in­nos­tus­ta teh­täv­ään se­kä ky­kyä ryh­mäss­ä toi­mi­mi­seen.

Rec­ruit­ment for TYY’s Wings for the 2024-2025 Aca­de­mic Year

The Stu­dent Union of the Uni­ver­si­ty of Tur­ku (TYY) is see­king mem­bers for the co­re team of its vo­lun­teer group, known as TYY’s Wings. TYY’s Wings is a vo­lun­teer group that ope­ra­tes around four dif­fe­rent the­mes. In the Wings, the­re is free­dom to crea­te new ac­ti­vi­ties, sha­pe the event cul­tu­re of the stu­dent union, and ad­vo­ca­te for stu­dents’ in­te­rests at the uni­ver­si­ty and in so­cie­ty. The co­re team of the Wings leads the group’s ac­ti­vi­ties and se­lects its chair­per­son from among its mem­bers.

The the­mes TYY’s Wings work on are: In­ter­na­tio­na­li­ty, De­ve­lop­ment Coo­pe­ra­tion, Equa­li­ty, and En­vi­ron­ment.

We are see­king co­re team mem­bers for the Wings, who will choo­se the chair­per­son and ag­ree on ot­her res­pon­si­bi­li­ties among them­sel­ves. We ex­pect app­li­cants to be mo­ti­va­ted and ent­hu­sias­tic about the ro­le, as well as ca­pab­le of wor­king in a team.

Stu­dents from the Po­ri and Rau­ma cam­pu­ses can al­so app­ly to join the Wings. The app­li­ca­tion pe­riod opens on Sep­tem­ber 2nd and clo­ses on Sep­tem­ber 30th at 23:59. App­li­ca­tions should be sub­mit­ted th­rough the form avai­lab­le on TYY’s web­si­te. TYY’s board will re­view the app­li­ca­tions and se­lect the of­fi­cial mem­bers of the Wings at its mee­ting. A trai­ning ses­sion for new mem­bers of the Wings will be held on Thurs­day, Oc­to­ber 10th, from 16:00 to 18:30 in the Tur­ku Hall.
TYY emp­ha­si­zes open­ness and equa­li­ty in its ac­ti­vi­ties. We ho­pe to re­cei­ve app­li­ca­tions from a di­ver­se group of peop­le.
