Asteriski’s own premises, commonly known as “Toimisto”, is located in the basement of the Agora and is shared with Digit ry, another subject association of the TT department. Infå rf and DaTe rf are also located in the same basement corridor.
In the office you will find almost everything you need for a luxurious life, such as a microwave, water and coffee maker, and a fridge that sometimes doubles as a hazardous waste storage room. There are also all sorts of technological gadgets to keep you entertained, and between lectures you can stare at a wide-screen TV chat room or challenge one of your tasseled colleagues to a friendly (read: hostile) game of NHL.
The office also sells overall patches, songbooks and other miscellaneous items and you can find out more about them here. The office bookshelf has a pile of books on the subject and a variety of board games for members to use.
Open
The office is always open when a member of the board is present and during official board member at the office hours. For the times and dates of these hours, please consult the calendar.
Access
Members can access the premises through these doors every day of the week from 7-24 (7am to midnight). Outside these hours, access is possible if someone from the Asteriski Board is present. Anyone interested in the activities of the association is also welcome.
