Membership may be acquired locally or through TIVIA. Asteriski is an associate member of the Association of Information and Communication Technology Professionals TIVIA. For more information on membership, please contact the sitting vice-president vpj[ät]asteriski.fi.

Becoming a local member
You can become a local member by submitting a membership application and paying the membership fee to a board member either in cash or via mobilepay. The membership fee is paid when submitting the application or no later than 14 days after sending the application. Memberships are valid for one academic year (1.8.–31.7.) and at a time you can purchase:
- One (1) year membership – 5 €
- Five (5) year membership – 20 €
Your membership is valid from the moment the current board has approved your application at its meeting. There will be no separate notification of this, but you can check the status of your application from the vice-chairman of the board at vpj[a]asteriski.fi or on Telegram [a]ronituomi. For the dates of Board meetings, please consult the events calendar.

- Pay the TiVIA membership fee (reduced price for students, see link above for details)
- You can enjoy the benefits of Asterisk membership as soon as your membership is approved by TIVIA.
