Membership may be acquired locally or through TIVIA. Asteriski is an associate member of the Association of Information and Communication Technology Professionals TIVIA. For more information on membership, please contact the sitting vice-president vpj[ät]asteriski.fi.

Becoming a local member
You can become a local member by submitting a membership application and paying the membership fee through Asteriski’s electronic membership register or to a board member. The membership fee is paid at the time of application. Memberships are valid on a academic year basis (1.8.–31.7.) and can be purchased at a time:
- One (1) year membership – 5 €
- Five (5) year membership – 20 €
Your membership is valid from the moment your application is approved by the sitting Board at its meeting. There will be no separate notification of this, but you can check the status of your application by logging into the online membership register. Joining via TIVIA
- Fill a form from TiVIA’s website
- Pay the TiVIA membership fee (reduced price for students, see link above for details)
- You can enjoy the benefits of Asterisk membership as soon as your membership is approved by TIVIA.
