Membership may be acquired locally or through TIVIA. Asteriski is an associate member of the Association of Information and Communication Technology Professionals TIVIA. For more information on membership, please contact the sitting vice-president vpj[ät]asteriski.fi.

Becoming a local member
You can become a local member by submitting the membership application and paying the membership fee. You can pay for your membership straight away via the membership register. If you wish to pay for your membership in cash, please contact the vice-chair before submitting your membership application. Memberships are valid for one academic year (1 August–31 July) and you can purchase the following options:
- One (1) year’s membership – €5
- Five (5) years’ membership – €20
Your membership is valid from the moment the current board has approved your application at its meeting. There will be no separate notification of this, but you can check the status of your application via the member registry or asking the vice-chairman of the board at vpj[a]asteriski.fi. For the dates of Board meetings, please consult the events calendar.

- Fill a form from TiVIA’s website
- Pay the TiVIA membership fee (reduced price for students, see link above for details)
- You can enjoy the benefits of Asterisk membership as soon as your membership is approved by TIVIA.
