Vir­ta: Mo­bi­le De­ve­lo­per (iOS/And­roid)

Vir­ta works to­wards a clea­ner fu­tu­re by sup­por­ting the ri­se of elect­ric ve­hic­les in Fin­land and glo­bal­ly. EV’s are he­re to stay – we keep them run­ning.

Vir­ta de­ve­lops a plat­form as a ser­vi­ce for run­ning an EV char­ging bu­si­ness, con­nec­ting EV ow­ners, EV ma­nu­fac­tu­rers, char­ging point ow­ners and ener­gy uti­li­ties. As a fo­re­run­ner Vir­ta al­rea­dy of­fers smart func­tio­na­li­ties li­ke dy­na­mic load ma­na­ge­ment, char­ging op­ti­mi­zed ba­sed on the pri­ce at the lo­cal ener­gy mar­ket and grid fre­quen­cy cont­rol­led char­ging. Cur­rent­ly our net­work con­nects char­ging points in over 11 count­ries, and we are ex­pan­ding fast to new mar­kets all over the world. For mo­re in­for­ma­tion vi­sit us at vir­ta.glo­bal.

We are loo­king for an iOS and/or And­roid Mo­bi­le De­ve­lo­per to st­rengt­hen our mo­bi­le de­ve­lop­ment team. You will be de­ve­lo­ping mo­bi­le apps that thou­sands of peop­le use dai­ly to find and use EV char­ging sta­tions. On your work you will fo­cus on a world class user ex­pe­rien­ce and la­test tech­no­lo­gies.

You will be wor­king clo­se­ly with our ex­pe­rien­ced mo­bi­le de­ve­lop­ment team of th­ree peop­le in Hel­sin­ki. Li­ke all Vir­ta emp­loyees, you will ha­ve a big im­pact on how we do things and what kinds of ser­vi­ces we de­ve­lop. Our ex­pe­rien­ced team will al­so gui­de you, gi­ve you all the sup­port you need, and help you to grow and de­ve­lop your skills in the world of mo­bi­le app de­ve­lop­ment and elect­ric ve­hic­le char­ging.

Ex­pe­rien­ce in na­ti­ve de­ve­lop­ment with And­roid or iOS
Skills in Ja­va or Kot­lin (And­roid) and/or SWIFT (iOS)
Wor­king ex­pe­rien­ce in mo­bi­le de­ve­lop­ment and/or conc­re­te re­fe­ren­ces of your own mo­bi­le de­ve­lop­ment pro­jects (eg. Git­Hub or ot­her port­fo­lio)
Good com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills sin­ce you’ll be wor­king clo­se­ly with our mo­bi­le team
Fluen­cy in Eng­lish as it is the main wor­king lan­gua­ge at Vir­ta (Fin­nish is not re­qui­red)

We are gro­wing and loo­king for a se­nior And­roid De­ve­lo­per. Right now, we are re-arc­hi­tec­ting our soft­wa­re plat­form to sup­port our gro­wing and evol­ving bu­si­ness. As a mem­ber of our team, your main res­pon­si­bi­li­ties are to de­ve­lop, main­tain and in­no­va­te on con­su­mer app­li­ca­tions to en­su­re a re­liab­le, ro­bust and high­ly sca­lab­le plat­form.

Your main res­pon­si­bi­li­ties will be to work on our And­roid pro­duct de­ve­lop­ment and dep­loy­ments. In And­roid de­ve­lop­ment your work main­ly con­sists of soft­wa­re de­ve­lop­ment with Kot­lin, na­ti­ve UI de­sign and co­de re­view fol­lo­wing an agi­le de­ve­lop­ment pro­cess. You will be wor­king clo­se­ly with ex­pe­rien­ced soft­wa­re en­gi­neers.

We are loo­king for:

• A ta­len­ted, pas­sio­na­te and re­sour­ce­ful And­roid De­ve­lo­per who wants to build mea­ning­ful apps using the la­test tools, tech­no­lo­gies and APIs
• Pro­fi­cien­cy in Kot­lin or Ja­va and ob­ject-orien­ted de­sign
• Fa­mi­lia­ri­ty with the And­roid SDK and And­roid Stu­dio
