Join us for a fes­ti­ve ce­leb­ra­tion at the Saint Pat­rick’s Day Sitz Par­ty on Thurs­day 14.03. at 18:00 at Osa­kun­ta­sa­li, hos­ted joint­ly by ESN Uni Tur­ku, As­te­ris­ki Ry and Egea Ry! An af­ter par­ty will al­so be held in Night Club Ve­gas star­ting at 21:00! Co­me ce­leb­ra­te the gree­nest day of the year in this fes­ti­ve high­light of Fin­nish and Irish cul­tu­re!

Tic­ket sa­le will ta­ke pla­ce in Ki­de.app on Wed­nes­day 28.02.24 at 12:00. As­te­ris­ki has a quo­ta of 15 spots so be fast!
Tic­ket pri­ce is 15€ and it inc­lu­des a star­ter, main dish and the des­sert, two drinks of your choi­ce and two shots. Sitz par­ti­ci­pants will al­so get a uni­que patch! Our ama­zing af­ter par­ty is al­so inc­lu­ded in the tic­ket pri­ce.

What is a sitz par­ty?

Sitz par­ties are uni­que to the Fin­nish stu­dent li­fe, and now it is your chan­ce to ex­pe­rien­ce what ‘si­tsi­t’ are all about. We will sing to tra­di­tio­nal drin­king songs lead by our spe­cial Toast­mas­ters ma­king the who­le par­ty even mo­re en­ter­tai­ning. They will al­so ma­ke su­re you will fol­low the Sitz eti­quet­te! If you break ru­les, you will get pu­nis­hed! But the­se are the fun parts and not meant to em­bar­rass anyo­ne

Food and so­me drinks are inc­lu­ded in the ent­ran­ce fee: star­ter, main cour­se, des­sert, 2 drinks, 2 shots, and wa­ter. We re­com­mend you to bring your own drinks as well, with or wit­hout al­co­hol, be­cau­se so­me of the songs inc­lu­de drin­king parts.

How to pre­pa­re?

You’re­ not sup­po­sed to drink al­co­hol be­fo­re a sitz par­ty – drin­king at the par­ty may be qui­te in­ten­se if you choo­se so. Ea­ting a small meal be­fo­re­hand is al­so high­ly re­com­men­ded.
It is al­so im­por­tant to ar­ri­ve ear­ly (17:30-17:45) so that the par­ty can start on ti­me!
