Mukavaa vapun jälkeistä aikaa, nuoret padawanit! Tänään sunnuntaina on toukokuun 4. päivä, joka myös tunnetaan Star Wars -päivänä, joten siksi tämä viikkotiedote onkin hieman teeman mukainen🙂. Nyt näin vapun jälkeen on hyvä aika siirtyä hyperavaruuden nopeudella kohti tulevia tapahtumia.
Keskiviikkona 7.5. klo 14:00 järjestetään Koulutuscocktail Agoran 4. kerroksessa. Siellä käydään yhdessä läpi kevään opintokyselyn tuloksia opiskelijoiden ja laitoksen henkilökunnan kesken. Tule juttelemaan kurssin vetäjien kanssa, antamaan ehdotuksia ja toiveita kurssien kehittämisestä ja nauttimaan tarjoiluista. Lisätietoa tästä artikkelista.
Keskiviikkona pääset myös valjastamaan Voiman tehokkuuden, sillä Agoran kellarissa järjestetään tuttu Pomodoro-kerho klo 16:00 alkaen. Tule tekemään hommia aikarajojen avulla, sillä ryhmäpaine on lempeää, mutta tehokasta ja tehtävät saavat kyytiä nopeammin kuin kiituri Tatooinella. Lisätietoa kerhosta löydät tästä artikkelista.
AATU järjestetään torstaina 8.5.! Ennen kuin lähdet suorittamaan AATUa, virittäydy tunnelmaan Pre-AATU piknikillä Barkerinpuistossa torstaina 8.5. alkaen 12:30. Valmistaudu aurinkoon (tai Hothin kaltaiseen säähän) ja tule etkoilemaan piknikille. Mikäli olet ennakkoon hankkinut lippusi AATU seikkailuun, voit noutaa sen hallituspäivystykestä tai Pre-AATU piknikiltä tapahtumapäivänä.
Kuka on opettanut sinulle enemmän kuin Mestari Yoda? Vuoden IT-opettajan äänestys on auki perjantaihin 9.5. asti ja nyt on sinun hetkesi vaikuttaa! Käy siis antamassa äänesi tästä artikkelista löytyvällä linkillä.
Lauantaina 10.5. lähdetään korkeuksiin, aivan kuten Ewokit Endorin puissa! Flowpark-lajikokeilu tarjoaa seikkailua köysiradoilla ja huimia hetkiä korkealla. Ilmoittautuminen aukeaa maanantaina 5.5. Varaa paikkasi nopeasti, sillä niitä on vain rajattu määrä – tätä et halua jättää väliin!

Happy post-Vappu time, young padawans! Today is Sunday, May 4th, also known as Star Wars Day, so this weekly newsletter is fittingly themed🙂. Now after May Day it’s the perfect time to jump to hyperspace and speed towards the adventures ahead.
On Wednesday, 7 May at 14:00, the Education Cocktail will be held on the 4th floor of Agora. We’ll be going through the results of the spring course survey together with students and faculty staff. Come chat with course teachers, share your suggestions and wishes for course development, and enjoy some refreshments. More information can be found in this article.
On Wednesday, you can also harness the full power of the Force, as the familiar Pomodoro Club will take place in the Agora basement starting at 16:00. Come get stuff done with the help of time blocks. The group pressure is gentle but effective, and tasks will be completed faster than a speeder on Tatooine. AATU takes place on Thursday, 8 May! But before you embark on your AATU adventure, get into the mood with the Pre-AATU Picnic in Barkerinpuisto Park starting at 12:30. Prepare for sunshine (or weather worthy of Hoth) and get ready for this AATU adventure. If you’ve bought your ticket for the adventure in advance, you can pick it up during the board’s office hours or at the Pre-AATU picnic on the day of the event.

On Saturday, 10 May, we’re heading to new heights, just like the Ewoks in the trees of Endor! The Flowpark tryout offers adventure on rope courses and thrilling moments up high.
